Writing, for me, has always been more than just creating stories—it’s an expression of faith, resilience, and gratitude. Having faced difficult times, including struggles with depression, I understand how easy it can be to lose sight of joy. But my faith has taught me that even the darkest days can give way to light, and writing became a way for me to share that light with others.
Each poem, short story, or children’s tale I write carries a piece of that journey. In The Tails of Thorngate, the theme of resilience is clear. Even when the peaceful forest is disrupted, hope eventually returns, and life finds balance again. This is the message I want to share—not only with children but with readers of all ages: no matter what storms you face, brighter days are always ahead.
Faith is the foundation of my writing. It reminds me to treasure the gift of each day, to celebrate the beauty of nature, and to find joy in family, community, and creativity. My greatest hope is that readers will not only enjoy the stories but also feel encouraged to live with hope and courage.
